Supporting Your Child
Parents are given individual feedback about how they could support their child during parents' evening in Autumn and Spring terms, but there are many ways in which you can support your child with their education at home throughout the year:
- ask your child to tell you about what they are learning;
- read together;
- complete homework tasks together;
- do some research about an area of interest;
- visit an art gallery or a museum.
This section of our website offers you some suggested resources to find out more about individual subject areas, and a list of places that you could visit with your child, or books that you could read together, to support their understanding of these subjects further.
If you visit somewhere new with your child, please encourage them to tell their class teacher about it so that they can share what they have learnt with their class.
