Jewllery and Watches

Earrings and Other Jewellery

If a child has piereced ears, they may wear one small, plain pair of stud earrings only. They may not wear earrings that dangle from the ear or hoops. Earrings must be removed on days that PE or Swimming take place - children may take them out just before the lesson if they are able to do this independently.

Children are not permitted to wear any other jewellery to school unless this is for a religious reason which must be shared and agreed with the school.

Watches and Smart Watches

Whilst the wearing of a watch is encouraged to support the children in learning to tell the time, we are aware that some of these devices have functions that are not appropriate for use during the school day.

Children are not allowed to wear smart watches to school that have any of the following functions:

- wifi connection
- ability to take photographs
- ability to play games

Where children are wearing any form of watch to school, families will be asked to keep it for home use only if it becomes a distraction within the classroom.
Please note: The school will not take responsibility for any loss of or damage to items (such as watches or jewellery) that the children are bringing in from home.

Year 6 Leavers' Hoodies

Year 6 pupils are allowed to wear their Dark Navy Leaver's Hoodies for their final half-term at St Paul's to symbolise their transition from Primary to Secondary school. These are organised by the school. If pupils do not wish to purchase a Leavers' Hoodie, they may continue to wear the school uniform jumper or cardigan.

The school office sells the following items:

KS1 Book Bags £5.75
Swimming Hats £3.00
Water Bottles £2.00
Water Bottle Lids £1.00
Baseball Caps £5.50
