Year 6 Freshwater Theatre Workshop

Year 6 had a fantastic workshop with Freshwater theatre company. We were led by the Earth Explorer, the children went on an expedition, using their map to explore the countries, counties and capital cities that make up the UK. Through encounters with people living in different locations such as the countryside, the coast and the city, we discovered what life is like across the different regions and landscapes of the United Kingdom. We used our creative skills to create freeze frames to depict landmarks and different jobs across the UK. We spoke about how physical geography often led to different human settlements.
