Year 5 & Year 6 Poo From the Zoo Exhibit

Year 5 and 6 had a wonderful time at the Poo in the Zoo exhibition where we became poo detectives. We were able to see poo specimens from around the world from a variety of fascinating species. We discussed with our expert Zoo keeper Tracy how she had collected these specimen and she wowed us with her tales of her zoo keeping days. She explained to us that the exhibition was a way for us to remember that we share our planet with such a diverse collection of animals. She reminded us that we could always help the environment with recycling and educating ourselves about the unique habitats around us too. She also reminded us about the role of zoos in the conservation of key species. One of the highlights was seeing a blue whale poo! It was enormous!
