Year 5 Cricket Tournament

On Tuesday 22nd June, nine children from Year 5 travelled to Chessington Cricket Club to play a tournament against several local schools. Thankfully the rain limited itself to the first hour and a wonderful day of cricket unfolded. The team performed well against strong opposition,  scoring several boundaries and taking many wickets. Unfortunately a victory eluded us, despite many close games. The children had fun and never gave up, showing wonderful resilience. Thanks to Mrs. Barrett for accompanying the team
