Year 4 'School on the River' Visit
On Tuesday, Year 4 had a fantastic opportunity to visit the River Thames in Teddington for a hands-on learning experience. Split into groups, we explored the history of the Thames, discovered how locks and weirs work, and conducted experiments to test the soil and water acidity. We also learned simple yet effective ways to be more eco-friendly. We recreated the River Thames using a rope and we were pretty accurate! It was an engaging and interactive day, allowing us to experience the river up close. To top it off, we were lucky to enjoy beautiful sunshine throughout the trip!
