Year 4 Littlehampton Visit

On Friday, Year 4 had an amazing trip to the beach! We explored the geography and physical features of the coastline and even had a sandcastle-building competition to see whose creation could withstand the longest. We made sure our sandcastles were strong and learned all about erosion, as well as high and low tides. The tide came in really quick so our castles didn’t last very long!

One of the highlights was paddling in the sea — it was so much fun, and no one wanted to get out! We enjoyed a picnic on the grass, played a few games, and treated ourselves to a delicious ice cream. It was a fabulous day out, and we were all completely exhausted by the end — the bus ride back was very quiet!
