Year 3 Visit to the Hindu Temple

As part of the RE topic this half term, Year 3 visited a Hindu Temple to consolidate our learning. We were very lucky to see how the priest led the worship around the temple, making offerings to each of the Gods on display. Then, some of the children were able to dress up in a selection of traditional clothes.  We saw how long a sari can be and how to wear one correctly.  Finally, we learnt about the role of a guru and the path that the priests follow from the age of 10.
