Year 3 Natural History Museum Visit
Year 3 had a fantastic time at the Natural History Museum on Friday 17th March. We were all really amazed by the size of the incredible fossils on display in the corridors and spotted the fossils of shells on some of the sea creatures fossilised bones. We spent the majority of time in the Red Zone which gave us the opportunity to revisit our learning from last term’s topics of Rocks in Science and Earthquakes in Geography. We hung on tightly as we took part in the Japanese earthquake reconstruction, we turned everything that could be turned to recreate the erosion of rocks by water and pushed every button that could be pushed to reveal the different intervals within the rock cycle in various locations.
