Year 3 Hindu Temple Visit

When we first arrived at the Hindu temple, we took our shoes off. We observed worship which is called Puja. During Puja, the priest lit candles for all the gods, he chanted, he gave the gods a flower and a piece of fruit. When Hindus go to worship, they have to bring something special that God created for the gods. We learned that Hinduism has been around for about 8,000 years. Ganesh is one of the most important gods for Hindus. Hindus pray to the gods every day. At the end, a few of us tried on some of the traditional clothes.
