Year 3 Freshwater Theatre Workshop - Stone Age

Today, Year 3 had an exciting Stone Age workshop in the school hall. We time travelled back to the Palaeolithic period when people survived by making tools from stones, making their own fires and gathering berries and nuts to eat. We then time travelled forwards to the New Stone Age and, in groups acted out playing games with dice, fishing, building homes to live in, looking after animals and making things with wool. It was interesting to learn about how much changed during the different periods of the Stone Age and we were able to apply this learning in our History lesson later too.
