Year 2 Visit Yorda Adventures

Year 2 had a wonderful time on their trip to Yorda Forest. The weather was absolutely perfect, and the children once again showed their fantastic behaviour on the journey there and back. The afternoon was packed with exciting outdoor activities. The children got hands-on creating nature-friendly seed bombs, and they carefully whittled their own sticks to use at the campfire. Everyone pitched in to help build the fire safely before enjoying the best part of all, which was toasting and eating delicious marshmallows. There was also plenty of time to explore the beautiful grounds and look around at all the different types of trees. It was a truly fantastic day of outdoor learning. Thank you to all parent helpers who made the day a success, and of course to Rosie and the Yorda team who gave the children such a wonderful experience.
