Year 2 Seaside Holidays Workshop
Freshwater Theatre Company transported Year 2 to holidays from recent history. We visited the 1970s and Emily-May, Evelyn and Amelia competed for the title of glamorous granny. In the 1950s Zach won the knobbly knees competition at Butlins holiday camp. In the 1940s Nathaniel, Charlie and Shreya drove a steam engine to the coast, "all aboard" and finally, in 1910 two handsome gentlemen (Lucas and Blake) escorted two lovely young ladies (Sophia and Holly) to the pier. Cassidy was an elegant lady with a parasol and Oliver and Chloe entertained with their Pierrot act. We finished with an exciting Punch and Judy show, we learnt that Punch and Judy originated in Italy. That's the way to do it!
