Year 1 Visit the Synagogue

We got to explore the Synagogue and see what things we could spot. There was a very big mosaic that showed lots of special parts of the Jewish faith like a dove, the Torah, the shield of David. We spoke lots about the star of David and learnt it’s also called the shield of David. We particularly liked seeing the Torah and even got to see a yad. We learnt all about Hebrew including how it is written and how it is read.
