Year 1 Chessington Visit

Year One had a fabulous trip out to Chessington Zoo. We participated in a 'Clawsome Classification' workshop where we had to use clues to find out the mystery animals. We got to look at different animal skulls while learning about how to spot preys and predators. We enjoyed eating our lunch and watching the sea lions enjoy a swim around in the sun. In the afternoon we got to journey on Zufari and see if we could spot flamingos, giraffes, rhinos and oryx's. We thought about why these animals were all grouped together. Finally we walked through the aquarium and saw a variety of underwater animals, including clownfish, stingrays, seahorses and even sharks!
