Year 1 Author Visit

Year One really enjoyed having a visit from Hannah Shaw on Friday! She spoke to us about how she makes up her own lands and maps for her stories. Then we had a go at creating our own land. She asked us lots of questions to help us create some ideas. We thought about what our land was made from, how people would move around and different features it would have. We then created characters to go in our land, thinking about what they will look like. Hannah then read us The Disgusting Sandwich which she had illustrated.
