Whole School Coronation Celebration

On Friday 12th May, we held a whole school celebration for the coronaton of King Charles III. We had a dress up day with a 'dress for a party' theme and invited families in for a special worship - led by Mrs Griffin and a group of pupils. The children shared interesting facts from coronations through history, shared songs linked to the coronation and finished off with the National Anthem which Mrs Griffin had taught them to sign as well as sing.

We had a wonderful turnout with many parents and carers joining us for both the worship and the tea and cake afterwards. The children were delighted with their squash and biscuits and the gift of a badge to remember the occasion which was kindly organised by the PSA.

It was a really lovely celebration!
