Meet our School Council
Our School Council is made up of 2 elected representatives from each class from Years 1 to 5 and 4 from Year 6.
These children bring the views of their class to the meetings and then feed back to their classes.
Meetings are led and minuted by the Head Boy, Head Girl and their Deputies. The school council meet regularly to discuss areas of school improvement suggested by the children in their classes. A central suggestion box is used to collect ideas to be discussed at the meeting. All decisions are agreed upon democratically.
This year we are going to use meetings to look at our School Development Plan and how we can help to improve the school.

Academic Year 2019/2020
Recently the council has
- Worked with the PSA and staff to improve the whole KS2 playground
- Discussed changes to the election process to improve the efficiency of the council
- Taken responsibility for improving playtimes, including monitoring use of specific areas of the playground
- Developed ideas for future House competitions
