Thomas AthaydeFoundation Governor (Parish Church Council) 15/05/20 - 14/05/28
Thomas Athayde
Since 1984, when I graduated, I have worked in Construction both as a contractor and design consultant. The projects have been both in the UK and overseas including Highways, water and Waste treatment plants, airports, sea defence, rail and bridges. I am very passionate about construction particularly how we can improve it both in terms of health (physical and mental) and the impact on the environment so I also deliver behavioural safety training and undertake environmental audits. In my spare time I go to the gym, cycle and support my school Old Boys' Rugby Club. I am a true sports supporter but also love going to musicals, the theatre and cinema and listening to all types of music. Most importantly though is spending time with partner and family.

Mrs Emily EvansHeadteacher & Ex-Officio Governor
Mrs Emily Evans
I have worked alongside the governing board since joining St Paul's C of E Primary School in January 2016 (as Deputy Head Teacher). I attend each of the committee meetings and address questions that the governors have about the information being shared at these. I have particularly come to value the close professional relationship that I have developed with the board while transitioning into my new role as Head Teacher (September 2019). I often seek their thoughts and opinions, drawing on their range of skills and experiences.
When I am not at work, I enjoy going to the theatre, reading and spending time with my husband and two young daughters.

Mrs Sharon GriffinDeputy Headteacher & Associate Member
Mrs Sharon Griffin
I have been at St Paul's since 2007. St Paul's is a very special school serving a very close community. I have held a number of roles at St Paul's including Deputy Headteacher and SEND lead, as well as being responsible for religious education and health and well-being. In my time at St Paul's, I have been both an associate member, as the Deputy Head, and a school governor representing the teaching staff on the governing body. Â I currently attend each of the committee meetings alongside the Headteacher. Â I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the governing body team, ensuring that the school is going from strength to strength.

Mrs Sandra Holdsworth
I worked as a lecturer in post-16 education, teaching cookery and nutrition, and then went on to run a professional membership institute, followed by a City of London Livery company. Currently I have an honorary role as Clerk to an Alderman in the City of London. I previously served as a Governor at the Tiffin Girls School and now chair the Pay and Personnel committee at St Paul's. I am a past pupil of St Paul's and my grandsons are currently pupils there. My hobbies include travelling, walking and spending time with my family and friends.

Julie MasonFoundation Governor (Parish Church Council) 01/09/22-01/09/2026
Julie Mason
I live just 5 minutes from St Paul's Church and the St Paul's school and am a regular worshipper at the church. I take a full part in church life in tasks such as operating the Sunday service PowerPoint presentation, reading prayers, helping with the communion chalice, refreshments and more! Professionally, I have been a Nursery Nurse all of my life and also qualified as a teacher 8 years ago. Outside I like to spend time with my family and I like to swim, sew, sing and bake! I was also a Brown Owl for 32 years.

Rowena Randall,Parent Governor 17/01/2023-17/01/2027
Rowena Randall,
I live in Chessington with my husband and two children, the eldest is currently a pupil at St. Paul's. I am a qualified Pharmacist with a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry and for the last five years I have worked in the pharmaceutical industry - most recently as a Medical Affairs Manager at Pfizer UK. I hope to bring my experiences of leadership, management and data analytics to the governor role. I am passionate about improving outcomes and making a positive contribution to children's and young people's lives. Part of my role at work involves recruiting and mentoring undergraduate students on placements at the company and I also volunteer for the Social Mobility Foundation (a charity which aims to make a practical improvement in social mobility for young people) where I work with A Level students to help them apply for University places. I look forward to working as part of the board of governors, making informed judgements to get the best outcomes for the school and specifically the children. In my spare time I enjoy playing netball for a local team, working on craft projects and spending time with friends and family and going on new walks with our dog Poppy.

Jonathan RuddFoundation Governor (Parish Church Council) 16/01/2024 -16/01/2028
Jonathan Rudd
I have a degree in Computer Science, from London University. In 2023 I decided to retire having worked in IT for 43 years. I spent around 7 years in Production and 36 years in Support. One of my great regrets is that I gave up French at 14 and spent over 6 years as Customer Care Manager for a major French bank, in the last company I worked for.
I am a Street Pastor in Kingston and a member of St Paul's Church.
I like growing edible plants and cacti, I also enjoy photography and walking.
I also like to spend time with family. -
