Rev. Luke Wickings
I am the Vicar of St Paul's Church and a foundation governor at the school. I have also previously served as a governor for another CofE Primary School and was also a secondary school RE teacher. I therefore believe strongly in helping the school to provide a high quality education to the children and families of Hook. I take collective worship in school very Monday and am very committed to the school and to maintaining and developing the Church-school links.

I have worked in the Education Sector for over 15 years working for State and Independent Schools, Local Authorities and Education Businesses supporting them with their use of technology. I take great pleasure from my work. I visit a wide range of schools and when supporting them I always have an eye out for how their best bits might be introduced in St Paul's. I currently have one child attending St Paul's and one that has recently left the school. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my boys, playing golf, watching sports and walking the dog.

I have worked in Funeral Service since leaving college and became a qualified funeral director aged 21. I now proudly own my own Funeral Service in my home town of Chessington. I am very passionate about my profession and see serving the needs of the bereaved as a privilege and an honour. I am married with three children, who have all been pupils at St. Paul's. In my spare time I enjoy running, cycling and motorcycling regularly, cinema and movies, a wide range of music, and am an avid sports spectator, and last but not least, spending time with my family.

I have worked alongside the governing board since joining St Paul's C of E Primary School in January 2016 (as Deputy Head Teacher). I attend each of the committee meetings and address questions that the governors have about the information being shared at these. I have particularly come to value the close professional relationship that I have developed with the board while transitioning into my new role as Head Teacher (September 2019). I often seek their thoughts and opinions, drawing on their range of skills and experiences.
When I am not at work, I enjoy going to the theatre, reading and spending time with my husband and two young daughters.
