Charity Work

Diamonds, Rubies and Sapphires

This year each team will be working together to raise money for a local charity. They will decide in their team meeting which charity to support and how they would like to raise money. This might be in the form of a sponsored exercise, dress-up day or a sale of toys or cakes. As you may be aware all of our pupils are part of a team led by a member of staff. The teams work together in cross-class challenges, sports day and at their half termly team meetings. Each pupil works on an individual level to earn tokens for their team, by following the school’s code of conduct and demonstrating our school values and learning to learn aims. The total number of tokens is revealed weekly, allowing the winning team to raise the trophy and sing their team song proudly.

You will be informed all of funding raising events in the school, well in advance, to allow the children to save their pocket money or even do some fund raising of their own!

Fundraising Events 2018/19 for Charity

This year the our children, parents and staff have already been working hard to raise money and awareness of different local and national charities. These have included:

The families of St. Paul's generously donated groceries for the celebration of Harvest Festival. The groceries went to a local food bank for distribution.

Year 6 children along with Mrs Griffin and Mrs Saddington organised an Afternoon Tea in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care, raising an amazing £143.00.

Once again the school took part in the Samaritan's Purse Operation Child shoebox appeal and we delighted with the 106 boxes that were collected.
